I could sure use a scotch. A butterscotch cookie, that is. The weather in Chicago has been woefully bad: gray, rainy and unseasonably cool. Because of this, I feel completely justified in turning on the oven to bake. The camera doesn't do the sugar & salt crusted coat of these cookies justice. I am not one to eat cookies for breakfast, but this morning I woke up to drizzle, so the decision was really made for me.
